Much like Montreal’s being a melting pot of different cultures, Revolucell welcomes everyone! From our regulars (seasoned vetrans in cracking screens) to the new-comers that are super careful with their device. It is not just a place where we fix phones, we love to hear about your week or how you really feel about the weather.
FOUNDER
His name is Yousef. He actually grew up in CDN and some of you may have even seen him around the block. After high school, he threw himself into auto-mechanics due to a love of old school cars. After graduating, worked as a mechanic for a couple of years and this is where he developed his passion for fixing things.
It was actually in watching his wife disassemble (and break) her cellphone to build a custom housing she had ordered online, that he realized the potential in fixing cellphones.
In 2007, he started working as a cellphone technician where he developed his repair and unlocking skills with other technicians. He read books, researched online and eventually, figured out how to do things even his mentors could not or would not do.
This confident, hardworking and resourceful attitude eventually led him to start his very own business in hopes to change the Montreal cellphone repair industry. He opened multiple stores in the downtown area, but finally decided to move his business to the neighborhood he knew and loved; our beloved uptown.
He firmly believed growing up in such a wonderfully multi-cultural neighborhood opened his mind and taught him to appreciate diversity. By founding Revolucell, he saw this as an opportunity to give back, contribute and help the community that shaped him.
